Impact and WDY
What is Impact?
Impact is a programme for young people, 13 - 17 years old. It brings young people together, in groups, to plan action and 'make a difference'.
Impact...
• is run by young people for young people
• is made up of small groups which form a large network
• groups meet at local level in youth groups and schools
• helps young people to reflect and plan action on a local, national or global level
• helps young people to make a real difference

Our group have been involved in:
• Residential Weekends at Castlerigg Manor, Keswick
• African Drumming workshops
• Drama & Art workshops
• Issues and situations that affect young people
• International Youth Exchanges
Impact Chaplain
Fr Paul Swarbrick (2010 - )
Fr Bernard Woods (1998 - )
We now have 2 Impact Chaplains as Fr Bernard has moved to Barrow so will not be able to help out as much.
We, the Impact Youth Group, work with CAFOD on various projects & support the work of the Diocese of Lancaster Catholic Youth Service.

What is WDY?
Wicked Dynamic Youth
This is a new youth group and is only being developed has a youth group, we meet every two weeks at St. Clares Parish Centre on a Thursday 7.30-9.00pm, young people attend from three parishes in the Fulwood area St.Clares, St. Anthony’s, Our Lady & St. Edward’s.
WDY is for young people aged between 12-14 years old and we offer various activities for the young people.
